Overview

Product Overview

The AELAB TD600-SH-B-DOAS is a portable differential UV flue gas analyzer based on Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS). It is designed for on-site analysis of exhaust gas from stationary pollution sources and for measurement of components including NO, NO₂, SO₂, O₂ and NOₓ.

The standard technical configuration also measures differential pressure and flue gas temperature and is equipped with an 800°C high-temperature flue gas sampling handle. A built-in suction pump provides a sampling flow rate of 800 mL/min.

The TD600-SH-B-DOAS is particularly suited to flue gas analysis from boilers, flues and industrial kilns under conditions that may include low temperature, high humidity and variable emission concentrations. The catalog also specifies applications in online monitoring and process control for thermal power plants, waste incineration plants, chlor-alkali plants, industrial boilers and kilns.

The analyzer combines differential UV measurement with an integrated dust filtering and water removal pretreatment system. Its DOAS algorithm is designed to reduce interference caused by smoke dust, moisture and light-source fluctuations. The instrument also provides automatic calibration, automatic range switching, real-time gas concentration curves, alarm functions and data storage for 100,000 records.

Key Features

  • Differential UV DOAS Technology: Uses Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy to measure gas concentrations while reducing interference from smoke dust, moisture, light-source fluctuations and other factors.
  • Pulsed Xenon Light Source: Uses a long-life pulsed xenon cold light source with a short warm-up time.
  • Automatic Range Switching: Automatically switches measuring ranges according to gas absorption intensity across different wavebands.
  • Built-In Pump Sampling: The internal suction pump provides a flow rate of 800 mL/min. Calibration flow must exceed 800 mL/min, with a three-way pipe used to discharge redundant gas through a bypass.
  • Integrated Gas Pretreatment: The automatic dust filtering and water removal system uses corrosion-resistant and non-absorptive materials and is designed for conditions with high humidity and low gas concentration.
  • Gas Cell Maintenance: The gas cell includes a dedicated lens cleaning window, allowing on-site maintenance without returning the instrument to the factory.
  • Automatic Calibration: Automatic instrument calibration is provided to support reliable measurement data.
  • Calibration Protection and Data Recovery: The analyzer can identify and block incorrect concentration calibration operations and provides selective or full data restoration.
  • Real-Time Concentration Curves: Gas concentration curves can be displayed in real time to track recent concentration trends.
  • 7-Inch HD Display: The high-definition color screen displays concentration data, alarm information, time, battery level, charging status and other operating information.
  • Chinese/English Interface: The Linux-based operating system supports Chinese and English input, and the operating interface can be switched between Chinese and English.
  • Data Storage: Standard storage capacity is 100,000 data records with an adjustable storage interval. Larger storage capacity is customizable, and optional SD card storage supports local data handling and transfer to a PC.
  • Low-Temperature Operation: A built-in heating module can activate automatically in low-temperature environments; this configuration should be specified when ordering.
  • Flue Gas Conversion Calculations: Supports conversion based on reference oxygen content and conversion by conversion coefficient; the required mode should be specified when ordering.
  • Alarm Functions: Provides audible and visual alarm functions together with low-battery and fault alarms. Technical alarm types include low alarm, high alarm, interval alarm and weighted average alarm.
  • Rechargeable Battery: Uses a 10A rechargeable lithium battery with overcharge, overdischarge, overvoltage and short-circuit protection.
  • Industrial Protection: The analyzer is intrinsically safe, with IP66 protection and an explosion-proof grade of Ex ia II CT4.
  • High-Temperature Sampling: The technical configuration includes an 800°C high-temperature flue gas sampling handle. An optional high-temperature sampling cooling filter handle supports flue gas temperatures up to 1300°C.

Gas Measurement Capability

  • Standard Flue Gas Parameters: NO, NO₂, SO₂, O₂, NOₓ, differential pressure and flue gas temperature.
  • Additional Catalog-Listed Gases: The catalog also identifies gases including H₂S, CS₂, NH₃, HF, O₃, ClO₂, benzene, toluene and xylene among the gases that the instrument platform can be configured to detect.
  • Multi-Gas Expansion: Optional simultaneous detection of 1-6 gases is available, and the system can be expanded to detect up to 30 gas types using compatible embedded sensors of other detection principles.
  • Selectable Units: Depending on gas species, available display units include ppm, mg/m³, Vol%, LEL%, pphm, ppb and mg/L.

Applications

  • Stationary Pollution Sources: On-site analysis of gas concentrations in exhaust gas from stationary pollution sources.
  • Boilers and Flues: On-site flue gas composition analysis for boilers and flues.
