The HSHA & HSS Series Multi-Position Stirrer Hotplates provide multiple stirring positions for parallel laboratory mixing. The catalog includes HSHA-1D, HSHA-3D, HSHA-5D, HSHA-6D, HSHA-9D, HSHA-10D and HSHA-15D heating-and-stirring models, together with HSS-3D, HSS-5D, HSS-6D, HSS-9D and HSS-10D stirring-only models.
Depending on the model, the series provides 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10 or 15 stirring positions. Each position has a 100 mm stirring-position distance and is rated for a maximum stirring quantity of 1.0 L H2O. All listed models support 25–35 mm stirring bars and provide speed adjustment in 1 rpm steps.
All HSHA models operate from 150–1600 rpm and combine stirring with heating. Their ceramic-coated aluminum plates provide a heating temperature range from room temperature to 120°C, a heating-plate rate of 5°C/min and an LED hot warning. Heat output varies from 50 W to 750 W according to model.
The HSS models provide stirring without heating and use ceramic-coated stainless steel plates. HSS-3D, HSS-6D and HSS-9D operate from 150–1500 rpm, while HSS-5D and HSS-10D are specified at 150–2000 rpm.
All models are specified with chemical-resistant working plates, an operating temperature range of 5–40°C, operating relative humidity of 80%, and IP 42 protection according to DIN EN 60529.
