The AELAB HSS/HSHA/HSHC laboratory stirrer range includes two product groups for different laboratory stirring requirements: HSS-300, HSS-400, and HSS-500 Large Loading Stirrers, and HSHA-2D, HSHC-2D, HSHA-4D, and HSHC-4D Multi-Plate Stirrer Hotplates.
The HSS Series is designed for large-volume stirring. HSS-300, HSS-400, and HSS-500 provide maximum stirring quantities in H2O of 50 L, 90 L, and 150 L respectively. All three models have one stirring position, a 50–1200 rpm speed range, a brushless DC motor with planetary reducing speed gear box, and a timer of up to 9 hours.
The HSS models use chemical-resistant stainless steel plates. Plate dimensions increase from 300 × 300 mm on the HSS-300 to 400 × 400 mm on the HSS-400 and 500 × 500 mm on the HSS-500. All three models have a metal case, IP 56 protection according to DIN EN 60529, and 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz electrical input.
The HSHA and HSHC models combine stirring with controlled plate heating. HSHA-2D and HSHC-2D provide two plates and two controls, while HSHA-4D and HSHC-4D provide four plates and four controls.
