Overview
Product Overview
The AELAB SYD-3536-1 is a Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Tester designed for determining the flash and fire points of petroleum products. It is designed and made according to GB/T3536-2008 Petroleum Products – Determination of Flash and Fire Points – Cleveland Open Cup Method and ASTM D92 Standard Test Method for Flash and Fire Points by Cleveland Open Cup Tester.
The instrument is applicable to petroleum products with flash points above 79℃ and below 400℃, except fuel oils.
The SYD-3536-1 uses a single-chip microcomputer with an LCD interface. The screen displays preset parameters, real-time sample temperature and other test information, while menu prompts and prompt-type input support parameter setting and operation.
The electric furnace heating system has no naked fire and provides continuously adjustable heating power from 0W to 600W. The maximum heating temperature can reach 400℃. Heating-rate control is designed to meet the requirements of GB/T3536-2008 and ASTM D92.
The test-flame device applies the flame automatically. During testing, the operator observes the appearance of the flash point and presses the record key, after which the flash point value is displayed and saved. The instrument also includes a wind shield and flame-extinguishing cover.
